We are pleased to announce that we have renegotiated a grounds maintenance contract extension with Powys County Council. Since 2016, we’ve enjoyed working with Powys CC to maintain outdoor areas for residents and visitors.

Our teams deliver an extensive grounds maintenance service to Powys; cutting 153 hectares of municipal grass, maintaining 19 cemeteries, cutting 96 hectares of county urban verges and maintaining 4 hectares of shrubbery.

The initial contract with Powys CC enabled Greenfingers to open a local depot in Llandrindod Wells, employ local people and work with other organisations within the community. We look forward to a long mutually beneficial relationship with the council, continuing to deliver an excellent service to this community and the people within it.

Steve Higginbottom, Managing Director, said: ‘We are delighted to have extended this contract, having enjoyed providing grounds maintenance for Powys CC over the past two years, we hope to provide a further enhanced service for the residents of Powys. Our local teams live and work in the community and we are all looking forward to working together in the future’.

Greenfingers specialise in providing grounds maintenance and tree care services to local authorities and already look after 250,000 homes and many organisations across the UK.
