Greenfingers delight at Oswestry Heart of England Bloom Awards

Cae glas park was awarded the Mike Garwood Memorial Trophy for the Best Heart of England in Bloom Floral Display.  This marks a triple triumph for Oswestry who also won best floral display and a gold award in the large town category resulting in the town being put forward to compete in the 2018 Britain in Bloom final.

Greenfingers manage the park on behalf of Oswestry Council and ensure the grounds are maintained to a high standard. Judges were particularly impressed by the stunning summer floral displays and expert soft -landscaping.

A judge commented: “The spectacular bedding displays in Cae Glas Park, were a joy to see, some excellent hanging baskets throughout the tour and the well-maintained Cemetery all give a colorful lift to the town.”
