Greenfingers celebrate with Guinness contract win

Greenfingers is celebrating a significant new contract win working for Guinness Partnership, one of England’s largest affordable and social housing providers.  Greenfingers won the bid to take over the Estates Grounds Maintenance Services contract covering the North West region for the Guinness Partnership.

Established in 1890 by Sir Edward Cecil Guinness, the great grandson of the founder of the Guinness Brewery, the Guinness Partnership provide a wide range of social and affordable housing including affordable rent, affordable home ownership, housing for older people and a range of care services, including housing for older people and extra care schemes.

Greenfingers has been awarded the contract for Guinness’ North-West region based on their bid representing the best value for money proposal. Worth an estimated £2.5 million, the contract is set to run for up to five years and will cover all areas of grounds maintenance services across a wide range of homes and estates that the association own and manage. This will include gardening and maintenance of green areas, litter removal, weed and plant removal, tree maintenance and bulk waste collection and disposal.
