Contract win with Manchester City Council

29th May 2018

We are pleased to announce we have recently won a new contract with Manchester City Council to maintain all of their nature reserves.

The jewel in the crown is that of Chorlton Water Park. This is a Local Nature Reserve and stands on the site of Barlow Hall Farm, comprising of a lake surrounded by grasslands and woodlands.

Greenfingers will have fourĀ full time teams across the sites, and we will be onsite to carry out a range of grounds maintenance and ranger services, including maintaining areas such as car parks, a small playground and a network of accessible paths.

As a new contract win, maintaining nature reserves is slightly different from our typical contracts and is an exciting project for the Greenfingers team. We are looking forward to getting stuck in and working with Manchester City Council to maintain all of their sites, so they can be enjoyed by the public.
